It was predicted that when digital menu boards (DMBs) were introduced, they would quickly become the rage. But, the reality is the adoption of DMBs has been, well, S-L-O-W.
It’s understandable. Admittedly, the idea of outfitting multiple locations with DMBs seems a daunting and expensive task.
It’s also sad. As restaurants continue to pour money into static signage and the logistics that go along with it, they are also throwing their budgets to the wind.
